Still going...

Well, I'm still working on Dear ol' Santa. I've posted 2 pics. One with the clay all over him except for his face (I did do his eyebrows in clay though) and one with him painted (except his face). I was afraid I'd mess it up. Maybe I'll just paint it in. There are some pencil markings on it right now. Still have to add arms and a bell to the tip of his hat as well.
Anyway...anyone have any suggestions?

He's gorgeous. :)
Santa is looking gooood. The shaping in his face and beard is really nice.

Hiya Denise,

Santa looks really great! Since you asked for suggestions...I'd probably just paint the face and forget any more clay as he looks perfect to me as he is. Wonderful job!

A New Kidney...

I have been gone so long from this blog! Sorry for those of you who visit now and then and have had nothing new to see. But, I have a pretty good reason. My husband has been on dialysis for the past 6 years and has now received a kidney. He was in the hospital for just about 2 weeks but is now home and still recovering.
We're so glad he is back!
We are all slowly getting back into our normal daily, thank you all for being patient.
