Something different...
I've finally found a little time to paint something new. It's something a little different. I found these books by Beatrix Potter. This painting is my version of a book by her titled "The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher". Mr. Fisher and his friend are fishing in a small boat and as quoted in the book, Jeremy says "I will get some worms and go fishing and catch a dish of minnows for my dinner, if I catch more than five fish, I will invite my friends." Wouldn't you just love a minnow for dinner? Whaddya' say?
I've listed him on Ebay tonight (another late'll be midnight in 2 minutes exactly). Hope you can check it out. Take care all! Stop on by again.

I really like this painting. The technique is really interesting and the story it tells....well, it speakes for itself, very inviting for the vision and for a tasty meal, for the fish, of course. lol
I'll bet you had fun painting it!

I love it, Denise! It's awesome! I especially love that froggy. He's so cute! I like hearing where the inspiration comes from, too. Some Ebay buyer will be very lucky to get this one!

A New Kidney...

I have been gone so long from this blog! Sorry for those of you who visit now and then and have had nothing new to see. But, I have a pretty good reason. My husband has been on dialysis for the past 6 years and has now received a kidney. He was in the hospital for just about 2 weeks but is now home and still recovering.
We're so glad he is back!
We are all slowly getting back into our normal daily, thank you all for being patient.
