Back At It

We had such a great Christmas. It was a little lonely since all of our family lives on the west coast but then again, it was very simple cooking for 4. Anyway...I'm back to painting again and I thought I would post some pictures of works in progress. I've started another small angel painting on canvas and I also thought I would attempt to create a Santa similar to what Jane deRosier (aka: Gritty Jane) had made. I thought it would be fun! You can see them toward the bottom of the page.
Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks so much! I love your art as well. Beautiful, sweet kind faces.
I can't wait to see the santa doll! He's looking great!. Jane's class was a lot of fun wasn't it? I've got some more dollies I've been working on too. Your paintings are just beautiful soft and sweet.

Hugs and Happy New Year!

Have you ever been told that you look like Paula Abdul?! Your pic looks exactly like her! :] I only made one ornie in time for Christmas this year and sold it on Ebay. I have some waiting to be painted...eventually, once the mad rush of the Holidays slows down a bit. They're so easy to make. You should try some!

Paula? haha.. ok.. You do kinda look like her.

Anyways... The angel is nice!

A New Kidney...

I have been gone so long from this blog! Sorry for those of you who visit now and then and have had nothing new to see. But, I have a pretty good reason. My husband has been on dialysis for the past 6 years and has now received a kidney. He was in the hospital for just about 2 weeks but is now home and still recovering.
We're so glad he is back!
We are all slowly getting back into our normal daily, thank you all for being patient.
