He Made a HUGE mess!

Well, I had just dropped off the kids at school this morning and was in my driveway and there he was....a huge black bear sitting next to my garbage can! It's the first time I have ever seen any bear that close up so you can understand the shakiness in the video. Sorry about that. My poor neighbor thought I was having a heart attack when I called her up. Poor Tammy....didn't mean to scare you :) The video is a little long but I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to catch it all. Bye the way, you can fast forward to about 4 minutes into the video to see him actually trying to get into the garbage can. If you want a little music to go along with the video, just click on MY Playlist in the right column, just below the Etsy Gadget. Hope everyone has a great week, take care !

Hi, Denise! You must have had some tasty smelling garbage! At least the bear was more interested in the garbage than in you! Stay safe! :-)

Yeah, boy was that fun cleaning it up! Smelly is right! Oh, I'll be staying as far away from bears as I can possibly get :) No worries there. Have a great week Anne!

Denise wow that was awesome. He was a beautiful black bear and big. A very unique visitor indeed.
WOW! Talk about something to blog about...you have a good one. He is really pretty and healthy looking. Looks like he has been eating out of some good trash cans. Take care;D)

That must have been quite some experience. And to think that one of my coworkers refuses to take out the garbage when it is her turn, because she is afraid the raccoons will get her. Good thing she doesn't live in bear country.

It was pretty scary! He came back to visit 3 days later but just passed through, thank goodness! I'm much more cautious when taking out the trash, or just going outside for that matter! Charlotte and "Purplecat", you gals made me LOL! I moved here from California, so...seeing a pheasant (or a racoon even) would have made me feel the same way but not anymore :)
